I had the pleasure of partnering with Dina for over four years on the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education Tiered Math Academy. Dina's deep content expertise and strategic thinking were key to the project's success. Dina can work at all levels of the system - from coaching classroom teachers to leading district wide strategic planning, she is truly unique in her ability to think both instructionally and systemically. We saw meaningful math outcomes for students due to Dina's leadership on this project. And consistently, year after year, Dina’s flexibility and subject matter knowledge earned glowing feedback from everyone she supported. She is a trusted partner who brings clarity, compassion, and results. I would highly recommend working with Dina to any school, district, or state agency.

What sets Dina apart is how deeply her work is grounded in research and in understanding how students actually experience and respond to mathematics instruction. She brings together unmatched content expertise, strong instructional knowledge, and a genuine, authentic connection with educators. Dina is the rare consultant who not only knows the “what” and “why” of great math teaching, but also the “how” to help teachers bring it to life in their classrooms.

I consider myself beyond fortunate to have had the opportunity to learn from Dina over the course of the past four years. I was connected to Dina through the Massachusetts Tiered Multi Systems of Support grant. During this time, she has served as a coordinator who always brought our district’s focus back to what was best for student learning, an educator who created a culture of risk-taking and authentic connections to the content among her adult learners, and a coach who effortlessly provided comfort and forward momentum in their learning simultaneously. Dina’s love of math is contagious, and her passion for providing paths for students to deepen their conceptual understanding through her work is hard to find. Dina’s biggest attribute is who she is at the core: trustworthy, caring, informed, dedicated. Dina would make a positive impact on any individual, school, or district lucky to work with and learn from her.
